Romania unveils draft law to cap magistrates’ pensions

The Romanian government published a draft law on Wednesday to cap magistrates' pensions at 70 percent of their final net salary and to gradually raise their retirement age to 65 over 15 years starting from Jan. 1, 2026. Thousands of UK women owed pension payout after ombudsman’s Waspi ruling

Thousands of women, potentially hundreds of thousands, are owed compensation because of government failings related to the way changes to the state pension age were made, a long-awaited official report has said.
